Our library collection is continuously growing and developing and includes books in a number of different language groups. Our collection can be viewed online at Library World. When prompted the library name its "Dili International School Library". There is no password required.
Primary students attend a weekly library lesson. In this time they read and borrow books, as well as learn how a library operates.
At Dili International school we recognise that to be a "reader" it is necessary for students to select reading material that they enjoy. Therefore, each middle school class visits the library weekly to read silently before starting their formal lessons.
Each August we acknowledge Children's Book Week with festivities and learning experiences that celebrate authors and books.
